With MobileLaunch, you can get your mobile website online today. It's a mobile site template system with multiple skins to choose from. Simply add your content to get started and install our included MobileRedirect code on your current Website, and you're live. How it works

A Mobile Website Template System

MobileLaunch is a mobile website template system which helps you create well formatted xHTML sites designed for mobile devices. Our templates fit a 120 pixel wide screen which expands to a larger screen like on a Sony PSP. MobileLaunch includes MobileRedirect, which you would install on your current website to redirect mobile devices to your new mobile site. With MobileLaunch, you'll have your mobile site online today.

xHTML MP Templates and Site Skins

Our template system is designed around the 'skinning' concept, which allows you to easily change the look and color scheme of your mobile site simply by selecting a differnt Site Skin. MobileLaunch will come with a few initial skins, and additional skins will be made available on our site in the near future. You may also use one of our skins as a template for designing your own. Just be sure to test your skin on a few mobile devices before you go live.

Adding Content and Pages is Flexible

MobileLaunch comes witha few standard pages already setup for you to edit and use. If you need to add more pages to your mobile site, just follow the simple directions in our readme file, and see the comments in our scripts. Adding a new page requires three steps:

  1. create a new xHTML file with our 3 page variables - for title, name and description
  2. save your new page to /views/myPage.php
  3. then link to your file: index.php?page=myPage

Easy to Setup, Customize, and Extend

With only 6 settings to configure, setup of MobileLaunch is quick and smiple. Once you have your mobile site up, you'll find it's quite easy to customize and extend our temples if you need to. For best results, stick with our directory structure, storing new pages in /views, layout files in /layout, and form/data processing/action pages in /model.
